Description

Join me, Desiree McGee-Greene, for a one-of-a-kind conference and small group instruction coaching experience.
Come see what it’s like inside of my private coaching group, The Conferring All-Star Teacherâ„¢.
What’s inside?

LET’S FIND TIME IN YOUR SCHEDULE FOR CONFERENCES & SMALL GROUPS
Whether you use reading or writing workshop or not, I will walk you through the steps I take to fit conferring into my schedule.
At the end of this challenge, you’ll have a conferring schedule mapped out for the 1st month of school. This schedule will include the students you will meet with on a given day, what skills they need to practice, and what type of conference or small group type you will use.

I will walk you through the THREE conferring methods I’m going to use to start next school year in my literacy classroom
By the end of this ‘behind the scenes’ training, I will share the purpose of each method so you know when to use it.
You’ll also know the exact steps to effectively deliver each method so you can meet with more students and stay consistent. Plus, your students will head back to independent work knowing exactly what strategy to practice and how to do it without you having to be there.

GRAB your Conferring tool & complete the conferring schedule challenge
I have a really awesome tool to give you that will help you with modeling or demonstrating how to do strategies in conferences and small groups.
On Day 3, you’ll know the three conferring types to use in your classroom. Which means, you can decide which method you want to use for each student in your conferring schedule. Once that’s done…you will have successfully completed the Conferring Schedule Challenge!

I will walk you through how I’m going to launch conferring routines in my literacy classroom
By the end of this ‘behind the scenes’ training, you will have the exact steps to launch conferences and small groups with your students. Having a successful launch where your students understand the expectations of how conferring time is going to go and what role they play is so important.
You are laying the groundwork from day one to make conferences and small groups possible every single day in your classroom. The more interruptions, confusion, distractions there are, the less likely you’re be able to meet with your students. So let’s launch it the right way and I’m going to give the exact steps to do it.

Ask away, I’m ready!
By the end of the week, your brain will be bursting with ideas and you’ll be ready to get started. You still may have some burning questions for me.
I’ll be LIVE to answer them inside the group, just as I do inside the membership each month.
