I Didn't Want to Stop Teaching. I Just Wanted to Teach Differently.
After 12 years of teaching in traditional public and private schools, I knew I still loved teaching. I just wanted the freedom to do it differently. So I took the leap and built Kingdom Seed Christian Academy, my own microschool and homeschool hybrid. But teacher friend...I did NOT have it all figured out. I learned by building it. And the best part? I'm still right here in it. I'm running my microschool, teaching students, supporting families, leading my team, and continuing to learn and grow along the way. Now I've taken what I've learned from actually building KSCA and turned it into the guidance, tools, and resources I wish I'd had when I was starting.
From a Dream to a Real Microschool
When I started Kingdom Seed Christian Academy, I didn't have a big building, a huge team, or everything figured out. I started with seven founding students and a dream to create something different for children and families. And then...we kept building.
