How To Start A Microschool Legally: What You Actually Need To Be Compliant

EPISODE #140

Today we’re diving into the phase that most teachers want to skip… but absolutely can’t afford to. It’s what I call The Legal Plan.

And if you’ve ever thought things like…
“I just want to teach. I don’t want to mess something up.”
“I don’t even know what’s required in my state.”
“What if I do all this work and it’s not legal?”

Then you are exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Because I’ve been there too. I remember sitting at my kitchen table Googling phrases like “Do I need a license to teach small groups at home?” and “Is this even allowed?” And I’ll be honest, most of what I found back then was confusing, intimidating, and filled with legal jargon that made me want to give up.

But here’s the truth: this isn’t about fear. It’s about freedom.
The legal side of your business isn’t meant to hold you back. It’s meant to protect what you’re building.

So in this episode, I’m going to walk you through how to start getting your ducks in a row legally so you can move forward with confidence and peace.

Are you ready? Let’s get started.
