– leads/beginnings (I named my topic and the beginning and got my reader's attention)

– transitions (I told different parts about my topic on different pages)

– organization (I told about my topic part by part)

– endings (I wrote an ending)

– elaboration/details (I put facts in my writing)

– craft (I used labels and words)

– spelling (I use words and chunks of words, spell word wall words correctly, use the word wall to help me spell words when I get stuck)

– punctuation (I end sentences with punctuation, use capital letter for important names, use commas in important dates and making lists)
