Want to get your students excited to read books about Black History Leaders or really any book in general? Host a FUN BOOK RAFFLE to build up excitement. Have you done a Book Raffle before? Launching a book raffle, can be very suspenseful and dramatic when you introduce new books to your students. They can do the whole finger/desk drum-roll, as you slowly pull out books and read the book blurb in your best reading voice.
