When done right and consistently, the workshop model is a great way to reach and grow every student because conferences and small group time is already built into the schedule. So, if you use reading or writing workshop; you'll definitely want to unlock this training and resources.
Conferring is where the magic happens and is your vehicle to reach and grow every student. Using a variety of conferring methods, not just one, is key to guiding your students towards their goals. So, inside of the Teacher Library is training on the 3 CORE Conferring Methods: Compliment, Coaching, and Strategy Groups.
Remember without engagement, we have nothing. If your readers and writers are not engaged or independent, it's going to be even more challenging to follow through with that conferring schedule you mapped out. So, I created a mini class and engagement tools to help you build that engagement fast.
Morning Meeting is an engaging way to start each day, build a strong sense of community, and set children up for success socially and academically.
It also provides a sense of trust, encourages respectful learning, and boosts empathy and teamwork. These are all skills that will help conferring and student-led activities run more smoothly.
Closing Circle is another great way to build that positive community that is need for conferring to be successful. It is a way to peacefully wrap up the day and send your learners off feeling a sense of accomplishment and belonging. It brings a sense of calm and safety to everyone, including you.
What if…your students were in charge of their own reading and writing lives? Instead of ONLY learning from you, they taught themselves and learned from their peers? Empowering your students to teach with you by inviting them to lead instruction is such an amazing feeling. Plus, you'll significantly increase the number of meetings your students have because now conferring time isn't solely reliant on you to teach the strategies. Win-win for everyone.

You will receive access as soon as you purchase the Membership. All the content inside of the Membership is housed inside our Kajabi learning portal. Right after you make your payment, you will receive an email with your login details.
As long as you are an active Conferring All-Star Teacher member, you will have access to all of your monthly videos as they are released! This means that you can watch and re-watch my real life classroom and coaching as needed!
You CAN cancel at anytime, just send us an email to desireegreene@tasktosuccess.com. There is no contract or long-term commitment. If you do choose to cancel you will no longer have access to the Behind the Scenes monthly videos, Teacher Resources, Peer Learning Classes, Conferring Classes, Connection Calls, Facebook Group, or the Strategy Toolbox. Access to everything inside of the membership only remains available to ACTIVE members, similar to a Netflix or Gym Membership… as long as you are paying your monthly fee to have access, you will continue to receive new content and be able to view the videos already granted to you!

Yes! Upon full completion of the Peer Learning Classes and Conferring Classes, you'll receive a certificate indicating the total contact hours for the membership. Acceptance of credits will be at the discretion of your school district.

The price covers the cost for one teacher to use the resources for their own classroom & students. You can not share these resources with other teachers (digitally or in printed form) at all.
